Samuel Maverick Four Grain – Texas Straight Bourbon

Crafted from a mash bill of 51% corn, 20% Abruzzi rye, 19% hard red winter wheat, and 10% malted barley, this Four Grain Texas Straight Bourbon is aged six years and bottled from a single barrel. Barrels mature in two distinct environments—our underground Lockwood vault and the Fowler rickhouse—imparting unique character. Each bottle is marked with an L or F to denote its origin and aging location.

Samuel Maverick Barrel-Aged Rum

Experience the smooth, rich character of our Samuel Maverick Barrel-Aged Rum. Made with Colombian Panela cane sugar and molasses, it’s fermented in-house, distilled on our copper pot still, and charcoal-filtered for a velvety finish. Aged 3 years and 10 months in charred oak barrels that once held our Private Reserve Bourbon, it delivers exquisite notes of vanilla, honey, toffee, and citrus peel—perfect for sipping or mixing.

Private Reserve Bottled-in-Bond Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Samuel Maverick Private Reserve Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon is a grain-to-glass whiskey crafted from Texas-grown corn, rye, and barley, distilled in small batches, and aged in historic bank vaults beneath our distillery. Made to the standards of the 1897 Bottled-in-Bond Act, it embodies the authenticity of America’s aged spirits.

This rich amber bourbon offers deep aromas of clover honey, Texas barbecue, and roasted Hill Country pecans. Full-bodied with a velvety texture, it features warm vanilla, subdued caramel from Texas sweet corn, and bittersweet chocolate notes from Maverick Malthouse Rye, balanced by subtle clove and nutmeg from North Texas barley.

Straight Triticale Whiskey Bottled-In-Bond  (Limited Release)

Samuel Maverick Straight Triticale Whiskey Bottled-in-Bond was distilled in April 2019 and aged for over four years in Maverick’s historic subterranean bank vault.

Crafted with triticale, a unique hybrid of wheat and rye developed by a Scottish botanist in 1875, this whiskey delivers a distinctive flavor profile. The grains, sourced from the Texas Panhandle, combine the spice of rye with the sweetness of wheat for a harmonious and complex spirit. Aromas of toasted cereal, spicy caramel, light caraway, and toasted wheat berries invite exploration.

On the palate, this Bottled-in-Bond whiskey begins with velvety butterscotch and grain-forward spice. It transitions to notes of orange zest, nutty pecan pralines, and a hint of West Texas piñon smoke, finishing gracefully with buttery cinnamon wheat toast.

BARREL PROOF STRAIGHT BOURBON WHISKEY

Samuel Maverick Barrel Proof Straight Bourbon Whiskey is crafted from a mash of 72% Texas-grown corn, 18% rye, and 10% malted barley, then aged for a minimum of two years in new charred white oak barrels.

Bottled at barrel strength (114 proof) and non-chill filtered, this bourbon delivers bold, unfiltered Texas flavor. To create this exceptional whiskey, we carefully select and blend the finest barrels of Certified Texas Whiskey, highlighting sweet caramel notes perfectly balanced with a pop of spice.

On the nose, you’ll find deep, earthy aromas of charred oak, vanilla, and caramel. The palate is rich and complex, with layers of sweet caramel, cola, and warming spices. The silky finish features a peppery rye kick with a hint of mint, leaving a lasting impression of true Texas craftsmanship.

STRAIGHT BOURBON WHISKEY

Our Texas Straight Bourbon Whiskey is crafted from a mash of Texas-grown corn and rye, then aged for a minimum of two years in new charred white oak. Bottled at 88 proof, it’s perfectly balanced for sipping neat, enjoying on the rocks, or mixing into your favorite whiskey cocktail. Non-chill filtered, it retains the bold, authentic flavor of true Texas whiskey.

The nose reveals sweet notes of crème brûlée, caramel, and stone fruit, with a touch of charred oak. On the palate, smooth flavors of sweet black tea, cola, and cinnamon unfold, leading to a silky finish with a peppery rye kick and a hint of menthol.

STRAIGHT RYE WHISKEY

Our Straight Rye Whiskey is a true Texas Rye, distilled from Texas-grown Wren’s Abruzzi rye, yellow corn, and malted barley. Our rye has a nose of banana pudding, charred oak, clove and caramel. The pallet is silky with notes of biscuit, cardamom, and baking spice. The finish is herbal with cool menthol lingering on the tongue, encouraging another sip.

TEXAS DRY GIN

A traditional dry gin with a Texas twist, made using locally grown rosemary, pecans, bay laurel, Mexican mint marigold, and fresh Valley grapefruit zest, along with traditional gin botanicals like common juniper berries and coriander.

The nose is deep and complex with notes of resinous juniper, honeysuckle, lavender, lemongrass, and baking spice. The palate is silky smooth with rosemary and juniper up front followed by citrus rind and a pleasant piquancy. The finish is long with notes of menthol and peppercorn. A perfect martini gin.

Samuel Maverick Barrel Aged Dry Gin

Samuel Maverick Barrel Aged Gin begins with notes of bright citrus and tart green apple followed by floral accents of blossoming laurel, spring bluebonnet, juniper and rosemary. The finish lingers with a mild heat, faint burnt sugar and a wisp of whiskey. Our gin is made with seventeen botanicals including Maverick pecans, Texas Rio Grande Valley ruby red grapefruit, Mexican mint marigold and traditional juniper.

The current release of Barrel Aged Gin was aged two years in our historic Lockwood Bank Vault underneath the distillery using our ye Whiskey barrels. The result is nothing short of a delicious surprise for the taste buds, making this a great great sipping gin on its own, as well as a inventive addition to a cocktail such as a Lavender Bees Knees.

AGAVE BLANCO

A floral and fruit forward agave spirit distilled from 100% Weber blue agave nectar. Agave Blanco is a less traditional take on tequila resulting in a spirit that is more drinkable and accessible to non-tequila drinkers.

A nose of dry white wine, apple blossom, and white pepper. The palate is reminiscent of green fruit, honeysuckle. The colors on the label are in honor of the flag that flew over the Alamo during the famous battle. The defenders were fighting for the 1824 Mexican Constitution that gave women the right to vote and hold land and Texians the right to self govern.

AGAVE REPOSADO

Aged in in our own used whiskey barrels, our Agave Reposado is the older mature brother of the Agave Blanco. With a nose is of toasted pecans and maple pancakes and notes of apple blossom, peach and prickly pear, it finishes with with a warm combo of caramel, nutmeg, cinnamon and clove. Perfect for sipping, but even better in a top shelf margarita or ranch water.

The colors on the label are in honor of the flag that flew over the Alamo during the famous battle. The defenders were fighting for the 1824 Mexican Constitution that gave women the right to vote and hold land and Texians the right to self govern.
